Perhaps you are like my friend Peggy who decided that the greatest business in the world would be to put on “organic baby fairs” throughout her region. It put her in touch with mothers like herself, and it provided a much needed service. She loved it, and her energy showed it. She mostly worked from home, setting up a corner office in her guest bedroom. And, since the fairs were local, she didn’t even have to travel much. As she got in touch with suppliers, she found that they were perfectly willing, eager even, to sponsor the organic baby fairs, and she ended up creating a very nice part time business for herself. She could have grown the business more had she opted to expand her territory, or to grow her business online, but with little ones at home she chose to keep it just as a local business.
